From Seven Floors Up

I've always had a hard time interperating poems, but something that really impacted me from Sharon Olds poem was the line "Suddenly I see that I have thought that it could not happen to me, homelessness." Many people don't ever think that something bad is going to happen to them, but life can throw a curve ball. I think the thing to learn is that to never take life for granted.
