Framing Class, Vicarious Living, and Conspicuous consumption

I really enjoyed reading this essay by Diana Kendall. The attention grabber of "The Simple Life 2" was perfect to grab the reader and the use of other tv shows helped tp keep the reader interested. I belive its so true that the media likes to control everyo0ne else's view of society. People try so hard to become the "upper class" by spend money they don't have on iteams they really don't need, thus, puting the america people more and more into debt.
